As you may know, we began a partnership with Lake Sumter State College in an effort to share our many years of expertise and knowledge with undergraduate nursing students. Marilyn Duran has been working with the director of the nursing program, looking for ways in which we can help.
Student Professional Development Day
We have been invited once more to attend the Student Professional Development Day at Lake Sumter State College on March 1st, at the Leesburg Campus. There are currently 113 nursing students who are in their last year of school; many of whom will graduate in May. The intention is to expose students to many different areas of nursing, such as infomatics, infection control, travel nursing, risk management, etc. to foster in them the value of networking with their peers.
Please consider joining YOUR peers in being a part of this event, and sharing your experiences. This is an exciting day and we were well received in the past.
